Petroleum Experts Limited (Petex) has granted 10 academic licences of the MOVE Suite Software

Petex has renewed its free loan agreement with the University of Insubria for 10 academic licences of the MOVE software suite, worth a total of £1,308,160, for use in teaching and research in the field of structural geology. 

MOVE is a benchmark software in the industrial field for geological-structural modelling and fault analysis, and is also widely used in academic research. This software will be of great use to our scientists engaged in structural geology research and earthquake studies.

The University of Insubria is grateful for this donation, which will provide the opportunity to use cutting-edge software solutions for both teaching and research.

Petex ha rinnovato con l’Università dell’Insubria il contratto di comodato d’uso gratuito per 10 licenze accademiche della suite software MOVE, del valore complessivo di £1.308.160, ad uso di didattica e ricerca nell'ambito della geologia strutturale. 

MOVE è un software di riferimento, in ambito industriale, per la modellizzazione geologico-strutturale e le analisi delle faglie, ed è ampiamente usato anche nell'ambito della ricerca accademica. Questo software sarà di grande utilità per i nostri scienziati, impegnati in ricerche di geologia strutturale e nello studio dei terremoti.
