VISITING PROFESSOR 1 RE: ENTREPRENEURSHIP: PROCESS AND PRACTICE
This course will focus on current issues re: entrepreneurship. Specific topics will be addressed based on the background of the visiting professor.
Course objectives involve students achieving some advanced learning outcomes, i.e.:
- A thorough knowledge of what entrepreneurship is.
- Examples of how today's entrepreneurs use continuous innovation to create radically successful business .
- An understanding of how to introduce innovative product/services/business model into the market.
- Understanding how to learn from failure.
This course will focus on current issues re: entrepreneurship. Detailed program to be defined once visiting professors are appointed.
MODE OF DELIVERY
Lectures, class interaction, working assignments, and case discussion.
The final assessment is based on the evaluation of the student’s participation in class discussions and assignments (both individual and group). Student’s evaluation will be based on the quality and quantity of class participation in business cases and article discussions as well as on a written assignment where he/she will be required to analyze (individually and/or as part of a group) an assigned business case.
Readings will be communicated in class.
