Alberto Arturo Vergani is a PhD Student in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics (XXXI cycle) and also he is an ESR at CRAIIM, Centre for Research in Image Analysis and Medical Informatics, headed by Prof.ssa Elisabetta Binaghi, both at University of Insubria, Dipartment of Theoretical and Applied Science, Varese, Italy. His works are focused on computational neuroimaging, neuroinformatics and clinical computer science. He is engaged in several international educative programmes organized by International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF), Partnership for Advance Computing in Europe (PRACE) and Human Brain Project (HBP).
Alberto graduated in Cognitive Science at University of Milan with Prof.ssa Folgieri and Prof. Prini and in Psychology (Neuroscience curriculum) at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan with Dr.ssa Perani. Integrated to his education, he attended several PRACE courses on HPC in Italy at CINECA and in Spain at BSC. Before to start the PhD, he was a Postgraduate student at International Centre of Theoretical Physics in Trieste.
